- It pains me to tell you that 1960's were prone to this sort of frying
- behavior... mine did the same thing around 11 months after I bought it.
- Something about the flyback transformer (don't ask me what that is... ;^) )
- not being properly constructed. If you can find a repair shop, they may be
- able to get the part to fix it for you. Mine was fixed (while still under
- warranty) by SMG here in the States -- actually they sent me a re-built model.
- But I don't know if the parts are still available.
